- DEHRADUN & MUSSOORIE
Dehradun is the Capital of Uttrakhand, and is known to be one of the most popular destinations to travel to from Delhi, especially in the summers. With a distance of just 236 kilometres from Delhi, it becomes easily accessible by road. Also, it is just an hour’s distance from Mussoorie so people generally make it a point to go visit that too.

- SARISKA TIGER RESERVE, ALWAR
Another beautiful place in Rajasthan is the Sariska Tiger Reserve, and if you want this weekend to be full of fun and excitement then you should surely head out here. You can go there and hire a Gypsy, pack some great lunch and go out in the wild. It’s scary as well as really fun especially if you’re a group of friends together. The best time to visit is said to be till March end, in the early mornings.

- NAINITAL

You must have heard of the Tiffin point which is one of the popular places to visit in Nainital. This place is named after a painter who used to sit here and paint pictures.
Just a 300km drive from Delhi, you can either reach this place by train or just drive down.
- BIR BILLING
You must have heard of this place, as it has become really popular in the recent past for Paragliding. Since it is located at a height of about 2400m above the sea level, it makes it the perfect spot for paragliding. It’s a really cool place, with amazing campsites to stay in where you can light a bonfire, play some music and enjoy the night away.
The climate remains pretty cool and chilled throughout, and is perfect after getting out of the pollution of Delhi. You can breathe in some rich oxygen here and take nature walks among the trees. It’s slightly further away from Delhi, but the place is actually worth going to.
- KASOL
Leaving the best for the last was Kasol, Tosh and Kheerganga. All the youngsters out there just love this destination, as it is full of life, youth and energy. Kasol is the home to a lot of Israeli inhabitants. Its cafes are exceptionally well made and the food that they serve is also wonderful.
The Kheerganga Trek is about a 26km Trek and this trek is a once in a lifetime trek to do for sure. While Tosh is a small village having a hippie and a bohemian culture, and they vibe here is amazing. The best time to visit this place is between October to June, and thus you can totally plan to go here on this Good Friday weekend just coming up.
